INDY RACING LEAGUE
Revved Up For Growth - Built For Opportunity

The INDY RACING LEAGUE is an American, open-wheel, oval-track racing series built upon the rich traditions and pageantry of the most famous race in the world, the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race.

The INDY RACING LEAGUE's two series, the IndyCar Series and the Menards Infiniti Pro Series, provide competition where driver skill, not just technology, determines who will take the checkered flag, where fans are thrilled by three-wide racing and finishes are decided by fractions of a second.

The INDY RACING LEAGUE is now in its eighth season. Its premier series, the IndyCar Series, holds 16 events in 14 of America's top markets. From Miami to Chicago to Los Angeles to Detroit and everywhere in between, plus an international event in Japan, fans are drawn to the wheel-to-wheel excitement generated by 670-horsepower cars and charismatic drivers racing at thrilling speeds.

Throughout the nearly 100-year history of our sport, every driver's dream has been to win the prestigious Indianapolis 500 Mile Race, the IndyCar™ Series signature event.

First built in 1909, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. When the first Indianapolis 500 Mile Race was run on these hallowed grounds, William Howard Taft was in the White House and Ty Cobb hit .420.

Today, the INDY RACING LEAGUE and Indianapolis Motor Speedway are home to many of the most recognizable icons in sports, including the Borg-Warner trophy, the Bombardier Pagoda™, Gasoline Alley®, the Yard of Bricks™ and the winner's drink of milk.

The experience of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and its hallowed grounds is truly unique. Everyone who participates in the events, corporate partners, spectators, teams and drivers alike, can't help but feel they are part of the history and the tradition that surrounds the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and all INDY RACING LEAGUE events.
